MiniCycle
About MiniCycle
MiniCycle is an iPhone period calendar built and documented by Chanwook Kim. This page explains who writes the guides and how their claims are checked.
Who writes the guides
Chanwook Kim builds MiniCycle and writes its app documentation and blog guides. Product articles draw on the app's current implementation and observed behavior.
How app guides are checked
Instructions are checked against the current MiniCycle interface, settings, storage behavior, prediction logic, widgets, and platform APIs. Articles show a visible updated date when the published guidance changes.
How health guides are prepared
Cycle-health articles summarize the clinical and public-health sources linked in each article. Important source names are linked near the relevant claims, and a full reference list remains at the end.
MiniCycle distinguishes recorded facts from estimates and avoids using a calendar to diagnose a condition, confirm ovulation or pregnancy, or provide contraception. These guides do not imply medical credentials or clinician review unless a specific reviewer is explicitly identified.
Medical limitations
The health articles are educational and cannot replace care from a qualified clinician. Seek local urgent or emergency care when symptoms are severe or feel urgent.
