App records

Period dates, notes, sexual activity markers, and cycle settings are stored locally on your device by default. MiniCycle does not require a MiniCycle account.

Optional iCloud Sync

If you turn on iCloud Sync in the app settings, MiniCycle stores a copy of your app records and settings in your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit so you can restore them on a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple ID. MiniCycle does not operate its own sync server.

App analytics

MiniCycle includes Firebase Analytics to understand app usage patterns such as app opens, screen and tab navigation, calendar interaction, generic core-action completion, widget configuration and opens, general setting changes, notification permission results, onboarding progress, and optional iCloud sync status. MiniCycle's custom events are designed not to include period dates, memo text, sexual activity markers, record types, record-entry locations, exact cycle settings, exact notification times, or cycle history.

Firebase Analytics also processes automatically collected events, an app-instance identifier, and technical app and device metadata according to Google's documentation. MiniCycle does not set an Analytics user ID, collect the Apple IDFV for Analytics, use Analytics data for advertising personalization, or use Analytics for cross-app tracking.

Website analytics

The MiniCycle website uses Google Analytics to understand page views, traffic sources, and blog usage. Website analytics are separate from MiniCycle app records and do not include in-app period dates, notes, or cycle history.
