App records

Period dates, notes, sexual activity markers, and cycle settings are stored locally on your device by default. MiniCycle does not require a MiniCycle account.

Optional iCloud Sync

If you turn on iCloud Sync in the app settings, MiniCycle stores a copy of your app records and settings in your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit so you can restore them on a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple ID. MiniCycle does not operate its own sync server.

App analytics

MiniCycle includes Firebase Analytics to understand app usage patterns such as app opens, screen and tab navigation, calendar interaction, generic core-action completion, widget configuration and opens, general setting changes, notification permission results, onboarding progress, and optional iCloud sync status. MiniCycle's custom events are designed not to include period dates, memo text, sexual activity markers, record types, record-entry locations, exact cycle settings, exact notification times, or cycle history.

Firebase Analytics also processes automatically collected events, an app-instance identifier, approximate location derived from masked IP addresses, and technical app and device metadata according to Google's documentation. MiniCycle does not set an Analytics user ID, collect the Apple IDFV for Analytics, use Analytics data for advertising personalization, or use Analytics for cross-app tracking.

Optional in-app feedback (updated October 10, 2026)

When you choose to send in-app feedback, your category, message, random submission identifier, app version, build number, and iOS version are sent to our Firebase and Google Cloud feedback service in Seoul. The developer can read your message for support, bug investigation, and product improvement. Cycle records, saved notes, sexual activity records, and Analytics identifiers are not automatically attached. Please do not include names, contact details, or sensitive health information.

Firebase Anonymous Authentication creates an anonymous account identifier without a registration form. App Check with App Attest verifies requests. Feedback documents contain neither raw authentication identifiers nor IP addresses; Google services separately process authentication, attestation, and request metadata, including IP addresses in infrastructure logs.

Feedback is scheduled for deletion after 90 days and rate-limit records after two days; deletion is asynchronous. Authentication records, infrastructure logs, and Telegram notification metadata have separate service retention. Private Telegram notifications contain only the category, app version, receipt identifier, and Firebase console link, never the message body, authentication identifier, or cycle records. Feedback is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. For deletion inquiries, email chwookqwe@gmail.com with the approximate submission time and category if known.

Website analytics

The MiniCycle website uses Google Analytics to understand page views, traffic sources, and blog usage. Website analytics are separate from MiniCycle app records and do not include in-app period dates, notes, or cycle history.
